    Hi,

I’m probably missing something rather obvious here but here’s my problem with MODx Revolution...

I have the following getResources call which filters the results based the current TV value of ’course’ ...

    [[!getResources? &showHidden=`1` &tpl=`student-tpl`&includeContent=`1` &includeTVs=`1` &processTVs=`1` &parents=`2` &depth=`1` &tvFilters=`[[*course]]` ]]

So if a student belongs to a course called ’History’ it works fine however I’m having problems if the TV value has a symbol in it, e.g. ’Animation & Graphics’.

The TV called ’course’ is currently set to have input and output types of text.

Any ideas how I can solve this without removing symbols in the value?

    Thanks,

    Danny

Try wrapping it in quotation marks "like this" and see if that makes any difference.

Thanks for the reply.....I’ve just figured out the reason was that I was calling it using [[!getResources rather than [[getResources]]

        Works a treat now!

That’s weird... calling it cached or uncached shouldn’t make any difference to your filter huh
