    couple of questions, I have googled for the past couple days and have tested all sorts of fun things, but nothing seems to work
    is there a way to have getPage return a resource according to the template used? I have an area with several types of entries and would like a visitor to be able to choose which type of content they want to see according to the template used for that entry, which leads me to my next question:

    is it possible to populate a dropdown select with different getpage calls (not as a template variable but in the front end)? I have tested using basic calls with toplaceholder property using something like this: &toPlaceholder=`place_here` then the actual placeholder [[!+place_here]], but it doesn’t work.

      Im not sure if this helps at all considering you are using getPage

      But with getResources you can use

      &where=`{"template:=":1, "OR:template:=":2}`

      Not sure if there is any crossover with getPage or if you can use them in combination.

        smcilreavy thanks, this is the way it was setup:

        parent container with getpage of all resources within it
        child container first topic w/ getpage of resources within it
        child container second topic w/ getpage of resources within it
        child container third topic w/ getpage of resources within it

        then in the parent container I had a drop down select to link to the other pages depending on which topic the visitor wanted to see
        so I can populate the drop down list with getresources and have that return to a placeholder without actually leaving the parent page?
        will give it a try!! thanks
