Questions of a MODx newbie..

First off all let me say "hello" to you all.

Well, i’ve just found & installed modx.
It seems good just for a news site. I couldn’t resolve the system yet.

my first notes,

- the search system doesn’t work.
- i’m sad because of the lack of plugings.
- and, no offense please but, i think this site’s navigation and access to modeules, themese is worse than many sites.
- i couldn’t install themes.. cuz i don’t know what to do ( ex: what is >>>>> Make sure that it is given access to the loginName Template Variable (in the Template Variables tab) if you want to use the login page <<<< }
- how will i use that snippets..
- is there any good blog, forum, download, gallery type plugins? cuz when i checked the forum { it was hard.. damn simpleboard } i couldn’t find an answer.. still going projects, suggestions, finished projects.. they’re all mixed. that’s not good let me say if you accept my opinion.

Please take a note that I’m not part of the developer team, so whatever my action/word is not being part/image of MODx.

I believe the front navigation in this website is clear enough, except when you go back and forth between the website and the forum. I believe Ryan and the others will be more than happy to fix this issue. If you couldn’t find what you’re looking for, please ask for it first, before posting a complaint.

Hope I’m not making any offense, but I want you to know that changing your way of addressing issue in open source community, will help you having a good experience in the community itself.
