[SOLVED] Problem with &tvFilters

This most likely has to do with the tvFilters parameter not picking up the default setting of a TV. If I have a checkbox TV and the checked value is 1 and the default value is 1, and I save a resource with this TV checked, it does not get recorded in the database as 1. Instead it is flagged as having the default value. The getResources tvFilters parameter does not seem to have the logic to pick up on this.

If I have the same checkbox TV but the default value is 0 then tvFilters will pick up on a checked value of 1.

I’ll look to see if there is a way to flag by default value.

Other than switching your default value I haven’t found a solution. I did submit this as a bug on GitHub.

Thanks for all your help everyone, it really shows the ModX community pulls together to get stuff solved. I had a play about with the code and finally realised the following:





For some reason I had put in an apostrophe ( ’ ), instead it only seems to work with the slanted apostrophe ( ` ), whatever that is??? I’m not even sure I even have the character on my keyboard (UK)?

Anyway, he ho, its all working as expected so all good
