I’m getting the exact smae error on line 34. Have you fixed the issue?
Is it the exact same scenario - ie what worked locally doesn’t live? Did you upload your local installation, or did you do a fresh install on the live server?
Sorry should have said!
It’s a fresh install on a web server (Windows 2003 iis) hosted on Fasthosts.
I’ve got it working on another fasthosts account with the same setup.
I’ve dome many reinstalls. I’ve tried it on 3 domains, all get the same error.
Ooops forgot to add the error
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class module in //nas19ent\domains\m\maytheforthbewithyou.com\user\htdocs\assets\modules\quick_edit\module.class.inc.php on line 34
Did you solve this, if so how?

The only way to solve this (That I found) was to go to a differant web host. To make sure I got maximum control over the advanced features in MODx CMS I purchased a dedicated server.
What are the NTFS permissions you are using for the directory hosting the MODx site? Everything installs fine for me, but when I use the File Manager under Resources -- although I am able to upload files fine -- I am for some reason unable to read the directory contents (files and or directories).
I have even tried giving IUSR Full Control of the site’s root direcory and still no luck. I have been pulling my hair out for weeks trying to figure this one out.
PS-I too have a dedcated server -- WIndows 2003 Standard w/SP1 and IIS 6. I am using PHP 5.1.4.4 in ISAPI mode. Sessions and Uploads are working fine.
