Hi,
i have a big problem.
I played a little bit at the adjustments and now i can’t see the head area.
Sorry, the description is a little bit tricky, i know...
In the manager i have the left site to administrate the documents, an the right site i see the content and on the head i have only a line with the following text: Document container for main scripting functions. and then a input box.
Did everyone know, which i can do, that i have the normally head area??
THX,
Sylvio
I think that happened to me once. Using a different browser solved it in my case. I was able to access the dropdown menus to get to the system configuration settings and switch the menus back to normal.

You modified the manager frames? If so, probably time to redownload them and copy over. If you changed manager layouts, quit the browser or logout and see if that helps. Modifying the manager frames/layout is not a trivial task.

Oh. I thought that perhaps the manager layout config settings were fiddled with. (Which is what I did.) In which case changing the layout settings back to normal would do it... no?

When I am stuck like that I just copy/paste
(url)/manager/index.php?a=17 and access the configuration page...
Don’t know if it can be helpful...

hey, cool...
but i don’t have a link. I can see the message: Please wait while MODx loads the page ...
and this is the end...
any other ideas?

You mean you can’t copy-paste your url + /manager/index.php?a=17 in your address bar ??
It would allow you to reset your configuration and possibly get back your head area...
One thing comes to mind... did you update
save_settings.processor.php ? This fixes this issue :
Infinite loop when saving configs

Now that
Zi instructed me on this : do you have SEF urls enabled ? And if so, have you renamed the ht.access
in /manager/ (not the one at the root) ?
