How to output the parent pagtitle with getResources

Does anyone know how to output the parent pagetitle name with either getResources or getPage?

Thanks in advance.

May not be suitable in all cases, but I do this (I’m a novice, so there may be better advice coming):

[[getResourceField? &id=`[[*parent]]` &field=`longtitle`]]

using the getResourceField package.
