[resolved]help !! admin log in ??

I’ve just installed mysql and modx at home - but in the course of setting up passwords for mysql etc i’ve got very lost and confused - now i can’t log into the manager - i tried all the combinations of passwords and user details that i might have used, but can log in

how can i retrieve the details and log in to get started ??

i’ve got myadmin setup but its all very scary .... i don’t know where to look or what i’m looking at

can anyone point me in the right direction
