I haven’t looked at it, but QuickEdit is Evo code
i mean the QuickEdit feature in the back end of Revo
Ah . . you mean "Quick Update." QuickEdit is a plugin for Evo that allows front-end edting with a little edit button for each resource field that’s tagged for editing.
The Quick Update code is all JS, AFAIK, and it based on ExtJS which isn’t normally available in the front end. I don’t know how much trouble it would be to modify it for use in the front end.

Quick-Edit is the only reason I still use Evo for my clients. It’s like cocaine for them. Really hope someone pushes one of these front end solutions.

AFAIK, FrontPage, NewsPublisher, and FormIt2DB all allow rich text editing in the front end.

I think, all of them FrontPage, NewsPublisher and Formit2Resource can handle template variables

NewsPublisher will handle TVs (with the exception of File TVs). You should know that is won't let uses edit a single document field in a popup like QuickEdit, however. When you click on the Edit button, it launches a form that is essentially a customized version of the Create/Edit resource form in the Manager.
In theory, you could have multiple Edit buttons and have each one launch a form that allowed editing of only one field, but I've never tried it.
