Recently my site got a load of spam comments and I tried hitting the delete icon (obviously whilst logged into Modx). Strangely doing that seems to log me out of the manager and didn’t delete the comment.
When I developed the site with ditto and jot I tested all this functionality and it worked very well. This strange problem then occurred when I needed it most. I observed the problem in Chrome, Netscape, Firefox and IE.
A few days later the problem disappeared and the delete functionality worked fine. I’m using Modx evolution 1.0.2
Any suggestions other than moving to a new Modx version or snippet version? Thanks

Sounds like a www.domain.com vs domain.com issue. If you’re logged in to www.domain.com and for any reason you are redirected to domain.com (and vice verse) you won’t be logged in any more.

I’ve observed this www.domain.com versus domain.com issue occasionally and didn’t think anything of it, but did put it on my list of this things to look into. I prefer it to always be www.domain.com.
Why does that happen if you don’t mind me asking?
