hey everyone,
I’m a bit frustrated using Jot with validating a custom checkbox. Seems that Jot never validate an unechecked checkbox.
In the Jot snippet call is my customfield declared as "tos" within &customfields und &validate.
In my form template I included a checkbox (name="tos").
If a user will comment an article he has to accept the TOS.
Unfortunately Jot is not validating this checkbox. Every user can post comments without accepting the Terms of Service.
I thought this is not an unusual question but I found nothing about it.
Does anyone has an idea how to solve this problem?
thanks!
Chris

Empty checkboxes don’t show up in the $_POST at all.
You need to add a hidden checkbox with the same name to the form.
