Hi,
I created a notice board with Jot to show latest notices people have posted. All good but I also made on the template of all pages to show last 5 notices posted on the left sidebar. So, page id 46 is the notice board so on all pages’ template I have Jot call:
[!Jot? &docid=`46` &action=`comments` &pagination=`5` &placeholders=`1` &output=`0` &tplComments=`allPages` &css=`0`!]
[+jot.html.comments+]
So it uses template
allPages to show just the title of the noticeboard post (Jot comment for page 46), link to noticeboard page 46 and nothing else.
If you go to noticeboard 46 page then I have there different Jot call as I want to show also the content of the post so it uses different comments template boardPage:
[!Jot? &action=`comments` &pagination=`10` &placeholders=`1` &output=`0` &moderated=`1` &tplComments=`boardPage` &css=`0`!]
[+jot.html.moderate+]
[+jot.html.comments+]
[+jot.html.navigation+]
Now the problem is that when I go to page 46 then also on the left sidebar the Jot generates code using
boardPage template so it all looks messed up.
Just wondering weather it’s at all possible to have two Jot calls at same page for same page id and using differetn templates?
Thanks,
Kaspar
