Is that normal that i cannot delete the Site start doc? And if i unpublish the site start document then the site does not appear any more. Anyway i publish things when site start document is published then every other posts are there, but when site start is unpublished then nothing is cached any more >

Well i do not think it is normal.
You can not delete it, no. And why shouldn’t it be normal ? A website has to have at least one document (a homepage) otherwise what’s the point ??
The thing you can do, on the other hand is edit the site start document

The document to use as "site_start" is set in the System Configuration. Before you delete or unpublish this document, you’ll have to change that setting to another document. After all, MODx has to know which document to load in the beginning. It’s like a scavenger hunt, but without giving you the first clue!
Nice to know, Susan, I learned one more thing this morning
