Read by 647 people (smarter than me, because I read only English, German and some Chinese) and then there was silence ever after.

Do others still use jot (obviously it causes only problems without answers) or WHERE is the alternative ?

Strange that MODx is still including such a snippet in their base installation - especially if there is no support anymore

SAD, because I actually though it had potential. I had it installed and needed to uninstall it because it caused other scripts on the page to stop... WOW, and that on a page with just the header on it. Imagine this would’ve been a complicated, filled with many scripts and add-ons page ... ?? I better don’t dare.

The forums search is not good at all... dont know why?

you are better using google directly:

and will get much better results that using the forums search
which seems to be fond of the old threads (2005-2006) which is
great to learn a little of the history of MODx (i.e., you can
find questions made by OpenGeek when he was a noob with MODx,
imagine that!!!)

I should mention that lately the forum search finds more, but not
all, recent information...
