    I don’t know what road to go down but I was hoping someone could help and point me in the right direction. I am looking to make the whole Jot System into a Thick box call - <link>Read Comments</link> opens in thick box. But Jot doesnt have a url call just an anchor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. huh

      First go to Resource Management in MODx manager and to Jot snippet. Add a new line before Jot codes like this:
      ......
      $docid = isset($_GET['docid']) ? $_GET['docid'] : $docid;

      $jotPath = $modx->config['base_path'] . 'assets/snippets/jot/';
      include_once($jotPath.'jot.class.inc.php');
      .......

      Now you can set &docid parameter via &docid query in url (http ://domain/index.php?id=28&docid=5)

      Then create a BLANK (no template) modx document and put the Jot call you need in this page. (e.g. this document ID is 10)

      Now in your ThickBox link, set the external page url to something like this:
      <a href="[~10~]&docid=[*id*]&height=220&width=400">Comments</a>

      This will change to this:
      <a href="index.php?id=10&docid=35&height=220&width=400">Comments</a>
      Or
      <a href="docTitle.html?docid=35&height=220&width=400">Comments</a>

      I hope it works wink
        God loves me. 【ツ】

        Thanks for sending this. I did get it to work by removing the ? in the Thickbox href call but I get the same results as your setup (which did work too). Seems that thickbox doesnt like the session and every time you try and post it freaks out and sends you to page with the jot setup that doesn’t work. I am working on making this a live site and going to invite any help I can get of course creds will be put in a page for everyone to review. It’s a personal project long over due.

          Don’t know if you are still interested in seeing my thickbox issue. I have setup the site so you can see the the issue I am running into. Either way if I setup by your way or mine I still get the same results. Form never submits and get’s redirected. www.antisubject.com - yes we are the creators/designers trying to get a break from the usually biz - an outlet for our work no client input.

          Ditto Call: Posted [+date+] | creator <a href="[~[+parent+]~]">[+pagetitle+]</a> | <a href="[~[+id+]~]" title="[+pagetitle+]" class="thickbox">comments</a> because I am opening up this for user submissions I needed the comments to be based on each page but dynamically generate on ditto call. In the individual page I am just using the [[Jot ...]] in the content section. Template rendered is pretty much blank with a [*content*] only.

          And ultimately I would like to show (6 comments) such as it grows.

          Let me know if I am running down the wrong road, it would not be the first or last time.
