Pulling title into jot

Hi All,

Im trying to pull the page title into Jot instead of the comment title, for example one of the places would be the read more link changing to "read more on The bull and bones" instead of "read More"

I have tried adding the normal to the template but nothing seems to work.

Have tried adding the following:
[+title+]
[~title~]
[+Title+]
[~Title~]
[~[+title+]~]
[+[~title~]+]
[~[+Title+]~]
[+[~Title~]+]

And also the above but with Long_Title and long_title.

Could someone advise how to pull the page title into the call please.

Hi dev_cw, Thanks for responding.

I tried that and it’s pulling in the name of the page that is displaying the comments, not the page the comments were added to.

I’ll try to clarify:

I’m using jot to pull the latest 3 comments to the home page and some inner pages, however these are not the pages that the comments were made on, so I need to pull the page title of the page the comments were made on and not the page they are displayed on.

Also just to clarify im using jot 1.1.2 and editing the chunk.comment.ink.htm file directly.

You can use some PHP codes or (maybe) GetField snippet to get page title for this ID......
