Where are the comments going?

I imagine this is a rather stupid question but where are the comments being saved, and how do I recall them?

After posting a comment the page just refreshes and there isn’t any comment. It also says at the bottom 0 posts for moderation and 0 published comments.

Jot stores the data in your db: prefix_jot_content

I’ve got a couple of other questions if you don’t mind.. How can I only allow registered users to see the post a comment box but still allow the comments to be displayed on the page?

I’m still just using [!Jot? &subscribe=`1` &pagination=`10` !]

The other thing, the template for the post a comment box and the comments box are separate files, however they are both being called only with the above code. Where can I change it so the comments will display above the post a comment form?

At the bottom of http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Jot you can see how to do this.

You will need to use &placeholders=`1` &output=`0` in your jot call then under it
put the placeholders something like this:

[+jot.html.comments+]
[+jot.html.navigation+]
[+jot.html.form+]
[+jot.html.moderate+]

For the other question use: &canpost=`Registered Users` - jot takes care off hidding/showing the form.
