May i ask you to throw an step-by-step example of NewsLister usage ?
I imported the latest snippet, created "News" folder and "Test news message" article under it, inserted [[NewsLister? &startID=’42’]] into "News" (42 is it’s number), and nothing shows !!!
PS. I’m zero-day newbie in MODx, but not in PHP itself.

Did you name the new snippet NewsListing, or NewsLister? The name of the snippet as created in the Manager has to be the same as when you call it in your document or template. Also, the individual "news" item documents you create in your News folder have to be published.
