Links automatically generated

Hi,

I’m struggling a bit trying to get any links posted in the Jot comments to be live. I’ve gone through all the forum posts here to no avail.

Any help would be more than appreciated.

there is another discussion on this but I can’t find it right now. Go to the phx wiki to see how to install phx custom modifiers.

It is recommended that you add nofollow to the links as well.

in the jot template but dont really get this... Where should I put it?

In the default template you would use it on this line:

by adding the parseLinks modifier to the chain:
<div class="jot-message">[+comment.content:wordwrap:esc:nl2br:parseLinks+]</div>

I tried that already but just getting:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in .../assets/plugins/phx/phx.parser.class.inc.php(314) : eval()’d code on line 6

Did you install the phx modifier correctly? If so you should have a snippet with the name of phx:parseLinks

hmm, your error message is for phx itself, the error you are getting may be a conflict between Jot and PHx. I remember reading about this before.

Well I have done it as it say and running latest version 2.1.3. (modx 9.6.2, php 5.2.6) Well appreciate all help!

My screw up was I had " instead of ’ for the nofollow attributes!
