Hi!
I’m just doing my first steps with Jot. And with almost anything around MODx, it’s easy going. But I currently wonder if there really only is support for english in the original version. Looks like there is no built-in support for different languages.
My first idea was to duplicate all templates (or using new templates in chunks) and translate all text in the templates to german. But -- my site currently already is bilingual (german and estonian), so I would have to duplicate them twice. And that would be very much templates. That’s anything else but optimal.
And this is why I’m just before starting to make two or three new files according to the languages, set some placeholders there and use those in the templates.
Has anyone already done this before? Please tell me
Martin
