I think its again a cache issue, try uncaching the page itself and call the jot cached.

Generally, I have cacheing turned off - it’s a PITA while developing (I may enable it once I think the sites are fairly well sorted).

I’m running MODx on three sites, all using Jot as it comes out of the box and in all three cases nothing is being saved i the ’secip’ column of the modx_jot_content table.

Well atleast try once and share the results, it might help the Jot dev to look into the matter and fix it. smiley

Okay, I cleared the cache - two files were deleted. Now, what did you mean by ’call the Jot cache’?

You need to set the "page" uncached by going to page’s settings (this is on the document editing screen, 2nd tab).

After you do this, use [[Jot?.......]] instead of [!Jot?..........!].

          Does it make sense?

Okay, will report back. The page setting was already set to NOT cache, because I have that as the default for all new pages. But I’ll experiment with the Jot config too...

Aha! You were right ... switching from [!Jot... to [[Jot... did the trick. I’ll leave it to you to worry about why that is ;-) I’ll just change that setting on all three of my sites.

              Thanks for your help.

I have come accross similar issues and for me, the page has to be cached as well to log the IP.
If I uncache the page and cache the Jot call, it doesn’t work huh

More annoying, if I cache the call on a cached page, then the moderation button don’t operate anymore undecided

I’ll give it a rest and try again... I have another form on the same page and it might be the issue.
