Hi, I’m trying to have Jot working as my Client Contact History. I got it added to my page - Client Area. But when I logout user who posted comments, and log in with another one, the comments are still visible for him. How can I make, is this possible, to make jot showing only specific-client-related comments?

Mike

I’m going through wiki about Jot, and I think I could use tagid. If I set this to username of actually logged in user I should be able to get only comments related to it (actually logged in user).
There is a little but... When I use this code:
[!Personalize? &ph=`name` !]
[!Jot? &placeholders=`1` &output=`0` &moderated=`0` &canmoderate=`[email protected]` &canview=`Klienci` &subscribe=`1` &pagination=`5` &sortby=`createdon:d` &trusted=`Site Admins` &captcha=`0` ¬ify=`2` &tplForm=`ContactHistoryForm` &tplComments=`ContactHistoryComments` &tagid=`[+name+]` &tplNav=`ContactHistoryNavi` &cssFile=`assets/css/jot.css` !]
Historia kontaktu:<br /><br />
[+jot.html.comments+]<br />
[+jot.html.form+]
[+jot.html.navigation+]
nothing shows up. Not even a form.
When I call Jot with &debug=`1` i see tgid set to actually logged in user.

Hmm, when I looked into debug output I see:
jot.snippet.input.tagid = username
and
I think both of it should show the same... username in this matter.
I added .tagid to my placeholders but they don’t show up
What can I do?
//Why use windows since there is a door?//
OK. I modified jot.class.inc.php and now i have both: jot.snippet.input.tagid and jot.tagid showing the same = username of crrently logged in user. But I still don’t have any form

I have installed it after your post and followed your other instructions, but that doesn’t work

Hi!
Did you solve that in the end? I can’t see the solution here, but subject says solved.
I’ve got a strange similar problem. I’ve set up Jot to use placeholders, and everything works great. Until i put &tagid=`test` in my call. When I do that I get nothing showing up for the placeholders.
It’s a clean install (9612) and I’ve not installed phx. Tried a lot of cache/non cache and mixing with the order of options in the call, and also where I put the Jot call.
I’m very tired now, perhaps I’m just missing something.
I probably manage to solve this tomorrow after a good nights sleep, but if anyone have a tip it would help.
Thankzzzz...
Hi,
do your placeholders look like this:
[+placeholde.tagid+] or [+placeholder.test+]
