I’ve searched the MODx site for a while now and I haven’t found any documentation regarding this (not to say it isn’t there). I’ve ensure the proper image libraries are installed with PHP.
How does Jot use captcha? Does it use the veriword functionality included in the core of MODx?
If so, does MODx’s global captcha setting for "Users" under configuration need to be set to "Yes" for captcha to work with Jot? I don’t want to use captcha to log into the manager; I just want it for anonymous users posting comments to a blog. I’m afraid to test this, because if something is screwed up and I can’t get captcha working, I could potentially be locked out of the manager.

Jot uses the built in Captcha but doesn’t need to be enabled for Jot (or eForm) to use it. They access it from the core via the API and therefore won’t screw up your install.
