I have a site I’m creating and I’ve activated Jot and everything works as it should. The posts are moderated so an email is sent when something is posted.
The problem is the URL contained in the email. It’s not formed correctly when using a port number trailing the domain.
My site is: me.mydomain.com:500 but the URL in the email omits the :500 to me.mydomain.com/ effectively stopping the links from working.
Is there something I can change to put in the port umber where applicable?
Thanks,
BBloke
in jot.class.inc.php try replacing:
with
"http://".$_SERVER["SERVER_NAME"].":".$_SERVER[’SERVER_PORT’]
"He can have a lollipop any time he wants to. That's what it means to be a programmer."
Thanks doze,
I would imagine that the name would be appended with ’:’ if no port was used in the original URL.
Would I be able to get away with using _SERVER["HTTP_HOST"] instead which has the port number included by default?
