Hi all,
Just wondering how I would go about adding a custom field called web address and then having this automatically set a hyperlink to the users name? I know how to create and display a custom field, just can’t get it to create a hyperlink on the name.

Just simply wrap the username part in the comment template with a link tag that points to your custom field content.. no? like so:

<a href="[+comment.custom.webaddress+]">
[+comment.createdby:isnt=`0`:then=`<b>`+][+comment.cre...........
</a>
.....

I can’t seem to get this to work, it just seems to output a blank url.

Got it working now, had different field name to the custom name... happy days.

for some reason, when the site owner posts a comment, it doesn’t seem to add their address.
