I still cannot sort out how to make threaded discussions. Including [[Jot]] into comment template just duplicates the existing root level comments without starting the new thread. Couldn’t find anything clear on the topic on the wiki docs.
Ok. I put the $tagid=`[+comment.id+]` into the nested Jot call.
That effectively ditinguishes root messages and nested.
But something goes wrong if I try to edit the comments.
After editing a comment some ?jote8fa2d8b=save&jide8fa2d8b=2#jfe8fa2d8b remains in the url. If I try to edit some other comment right after editing the first one, I get the following URL on the edit page
?jote8fa2d8b=save&jide8fa2d8b=2&jot01b489a7=edit&jid01b489a7=1#jf01b489a7
with the initial ?jote8fa2d8b=save&jide8fa2d8b=2#jfe8fa2d8b built in the URL.
After saving this edit form I automatically get the edit form of the 8fa2d8b comment, after saving it I get back to the
?jote8fa2d8b=save&jide8fa2d8b=2&jot01b489a7=save&jid01b489a7=1#jfe8fa2d8b to edit the 01b489a7 record
and after saving it I get again to 8fa2d8b edit form.
The only way to edit several comments is to start from the clean url without ?jote... part every time. That is quite OK for me, but wouldn’t be clear enough for the end users.
