Create User Account Extension

Hello,

New kid in town .

I have just discovered MODx and very much like what I see.

I have a couple of questions, the first of many I am sure.

1. Is it possible to extend the user registration process to send an email to the user, requiring a click on a link to confirm registration?

2. How easy is it to integrate a forum, much as you have done here?

Thank you.

Welcome to MODx!

1. Yes, it is possible. It just hasn’t been written yet!
2. It will be very simple to integrate SMF (Simple Machines Forum which is what this forum runs on) in the very near future when the module comes out. Until then search for SMF on the forum.....

Hmmm - I was afraid you were going to say that .

If I get something sorted I shall certainly let you know, although it has now moved to the bottom of my list.
