first word of new post/text

is there anyway you can grab the first letter of the first word of your blog post? I want to do a drop cap for the first letter on each my posts.

anyone know how this can be accomplished?

There’s the CSS pseudo-class «first-letter» for that.

As always, this doesn’t work as easily in Internet Explorer, so tell all you clients not to use it...

You can do a custom phx modifier that wraps the first char in some tag
