Page error after successful upgrade

Hi there.

I’ve just upgrade an Eto 0.6 install to Modx v0.9. The upgrade completed successfully, however when going to the front page of the site I get the following error...

Fatal error: Cannot use [] for reading in /home/clients/name/domain/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(770) : regexp code on line 1

I can log in to the manager fine. And I can go to any other page ok. Just not the default front page.

Any ideas?

I have found the culpret. It’s the new newslisting snippet that comes with Modx.

I was using the Eto default newslisting snippet on the front page. I selected to upgrade that snippet to the Modx version during the upgrade, however the existing parameters makes the page go bang.

Hi Robsta,

Sorry for breaking the NewsListing snippet. How were you calling the snippet that caused it to break? I’m going to alias the calls to the new calls for the next release so I don’t get in trouble again!

Just retrieved it from my backup.
I called it using [[NewsListing?newsid=8]], with the default Eto news document.
