[RC1] No post data

Hey i’m using RC1 and i installed the snippet and when I put the call in a chunk it displays the form but when i enter a comment it just redirects me to the first page of my site and when I go back on to where the comment form is it doesn’t show any comments and when i look in the database no entry’s are made in the jot tables. oh and I have reinstalled the whole script again like deleted all the tables files and snippets and chunk.

Have you updated the snippet code in the manager. I forgot to do that when update from beta 8 to RC1 and I have the same problems you have described

yeah i did upgrade i upgraded everything does it matter if im using a subversion version of modx??

The Jot snippet is called from a chunk. This makes me wonder... if a snippet is called from a chunk included in a cached page, will the snippet be evaluated even if the snippet is called uncached?

hmm to make sure that Jot works you should make the call uncached as direct as possible... just to eliminate these kinds of issue’s
It should work as a chunk but i’m just not sure about the caching issue.
