Date input within TV

I want to create a TV with a default layout like this:

CONTENT TITLE
Saturday 99th Month 2005

Paragraph of text here ......

--------------------------------------------------

Does anyone know if its possible to add a date widget into the default TV layout (where the date appears on the second line) so the user can select the date from a drop down when they go to populate the content?

Any advise gratefully received.

There are a lot of options for how you format a date, but I can’t tell exactly what you want given your example of "Saturday 99th Month 2005" -- maybe you can get something out of the links above.
