    Hello there,
I was using a http://ditto.modxcms.com/tutorials/custom-rss-feed.html method of creating a rss feed for my site, but since turning on friendly url it seems the page has been renamed .html and no longer prompts people to subscribe - it now just loads the homepage.

Any ideas for the best way round this?

    Thanks

Do you have the content-type set as text/rss? I’ve never tried doing anything other than HTML docs, but I understand XML or whatever else should show up properly. Let me know how it goes. Otherwise, in your system settings, under friendly URLs, you should be able to get rid of the suffix ’.html’ from your pages.

This is working again now after logging it with the site developer/hosting company - If I find out what they did I will post back.
