Remove Images from a Post?

Hi All

I have several posts that have images within them, but then on my homepage I have a call from the ditto post. All I want is for a couple of lines from the post to be displayed on the home page. i have limited the word content to display 200 characters but the picture in the post is also being displayed. How do I remove it from the specific post.

I had the same problem in a blog, and I resolved adding the image with a Template Variable instead of usying the Wysiwyg Editor, so that I can easly avoid displaying it.

Thasnks for this. What is the best way of doing this. I need to place the image in a specific area of text, if I add as a TV I would not be able to move the image up and down?

Is the image inside the text that you add with Wysiwyg Editor? If yes, this technique might not be the right one.

Usually I use the Introtext (Summary) field for this kind of things. You could display the [+summary+] instead of [+content+], in this way you can avoid any image which is in the text.

Maybe you can remove the tag with this PHx modifier (not tested):
