    It is possibility to turn-off quick edit module for single page?

    The problem is that I’m using rico script (http://openrico.org/rico/demos.page?demo=rico_accordion )
    Quick edit conflict with scripts on my page (template).. so when I’m logged, I cannot read content in ’accordion’ (from front-end)

    Second problem:
    I have disable WYSIWYG editor in system configuration.. but when I’m editing page via quick edit - fck is loading any time. How to disable FCk editor in quick edit module?

    thx smiley

      No, there isn’t any way to turn QuickEdit off for specific pages. I’ll work on that for the next release though. Could you please log a feature request in the bug trakcer?

      There are probably some naming conflicts going on between rico and script.aculo.us. Are you getting any javascript errors? I would like to make QuickEdit compatable with other javascript libraries.

      How are you turning it off exactly? Are you just unchecking the events in the plugin? If you uncheck richtext on a page it should turn it off. And I would think that unchecking the events should turn it off too.

        One thing to keep in mind is the rico and script.aculo.us are both using prototype.js and they might not be the same version so you might having some conflict on the library call.

          Good point. We’re using an earlier version of scriptaculous because the newer ones have various problems with IE and the way different effects render (or don’t mostly).

              There are no page-by-page QE controls. Please file a request in our bug tracker if you’d like to see it. smiley

                Or better, modify the plugin by simply adding an if statement around it that checks the documentIdentifier before proceeding...

                  Unchecking the RTF editor in config does not affect the Quickedit Window RTF editor (tested in 0.9.6).

                  To disable the editor in the Quickedit window, unchecking the RTF editor in the document itself will do the job.

                    To developers - you do need to check out "HTML validator" plugin for Firefox. I’d recommend to developers to try HTML validator for Firefox because it shows a green checkmark when the page is OK and red X when it isn’t. It uses HTML tidy and SGML parser inline to validate the page.

                    I have no problem for quickedit being enabled however it causes validation errors when user is not logged in (I use "HTML validator" plugin for Firefox). It generates tag <quickedit:content /> which is not defined in the HTML and of course the validation fails.

                      I’ve addressed this "single page" issue by making minor adjustments to the QuickEdit module/plugin.

                      Module Edit:

                      "Edit" the QuickEdit Module by clicking on the "configuration" tab. We will add a parameter to be passed to the QuickEdit plugin. Add the text below to the configuration input field
                      &excluded_documents=Excluded Documents;string;

                      Once you’ve added the text to the input click the button to the right of the input. You should now see a new Parameter entry below the input field you just modified.

                      Now add document ID’s that you want QuickEdit to exclude. Make sure the ID’s are comma separated with NO SPACES between them.

                      Example 1:
                      47,53,54

                      Example 2 (single entry):
                      47

                      Plugin Edit:

                      In the QuickEdit Plugin Add these lines above the "Don’t do anything if we aren’t logged in" comment line.
                      // set module configuration to include excluded_documents=Excluded Documents;string;(comma separated id numbers)
                      // set to default false value
                      $qe_disable = false;

                      // explode excluded_documents string into array
                      $excluded_docs = explode(',',$excluded_documents);

                      // loop through excluded documents id and set trigger to true if match
                      foreach( $excluded_docs as $ex_doc_id){
                      	if($modx->documentObject['id'] == $ex_doc_id){$qe_disable = true;}
                      }

                      Next, this line of code
                      if(isset($_SESSION['mgrValidated']) && $_SESSION['mgrValidated']) {

                      needs to be replaced with (or comment it out to keep for reference)
                      if(isset($_SESSION['mgrValidated']) && $_SESSION['mgrValidated'] && $qe_disable == false) {

                      That’s it!
