documentation - role/ group/ access management

I’m not the sharpest tool in the box but definitely a tool. I couldn’t figure out how to enable access permissions. I checked the doc for role management and user management. I set up groups and on and on but nothing worked until Thrash said "Duh, site config!" This is a simple thing that maybe could be noted along side the message "Access permissions are not enabled" or placed in the docs with the user management etc.

Well, 6 months down the line .... and I have just wasted 1/2 an hour on this one.

Thank goodness for this post which saved me from further aggravation!!

Definitely worth changing (or adding to) that access permission error message.

Can you please make this as a feature request in the bug tracker. Thanks!
