Is Ditto a dead Add-on?

    In the listing of Extra Packages, Ditto is listed as "no longer in active development.

    Does this mean it will not be updated any more?

    Should I be using "getresources" instead?

      I doubt if there are many MODx sites that do not make extensive use of Ditto. It really doesn’t need any further development, it already does everything including the dishes and the laundry.

      Revolution, however, is another matter altogether.

        I should have specified Revolution. What should be said for Revolution and Ditto?

          The author of Ditto has been MIA from the community for some time.

          The core team will not be spending any more time working on Ditto. There is an alpha version available for Revo, but we will not provide support for it.

          The MODx core team recommends to use getResources and getPage.
