Order by A to Z of title field with A first & Z last

Hi,

I have managed to get my ditto documents sorted alphabetically using &orderBy

However, they are showing Z frist and A last. I want them to display the other way round.

This is the call I am using:-

[!Ditto? &parents=`91` &display=`8`&tpl=`busdirformat` &orderBy=`pagetitle DESC` &paginate=`1` &paginateAlwaysShowLinks=`1`!]

The result is:-

Business Directory

The House - 0**** 790852

SKINrz Limited - ***** 786998

Borrelli’s Delicatessen - ***** 791888

I just want the document list the other way round.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can tell I am a complete novice at this game.

I now realize the simple importance of ASC DESC meaning ascending and descending.

I’m very sensitive to these; being dyslexic I can never remember which one goes which way (don’t ever ask me for directions), and 90% of the time I’ll use the wrong one. You’d think I’d have a 50-50 chance of getting it right, but that’s the way it goes

Me too, dyslexic I mean, that couple with very limited coding knowledge means I tend to miss the totally obvious.

There are quite a lot MODX explanations that do not quite get basic enough for the novice.

Still its great product and bit by bit I am getting the results I want.
