Ditto user defined template chunk for specific doc

    Ditto doesn’t like that because it has no placeholders to process. Change the second line to <p>[+pagetitle+]</p> and see what happens. Bruno17 may be right about the parsing, though.

          Yeah, tried that but the TVs drop out.

              I assume that you’ve tried the Ditto call both cached and uncached. I know this would work in Revolution, but it may just not be possible on Evo because of the parsing order.

              In that case, the only thing I can think of is to either write your own mini-version of Ditto, pull the appropriate Tpl chunk, and fill in the placeholders yourself. Either that, or (see below).

              BTW, all the tags in the Tpl need to be [+tv+] -style tags (not [*tv*+] ). Otherwise, they’ll get their value from the document with the ditto call rather than the document being summarized.

              Here’s another thought. It’s truly ugly and wasteful, but it would have to work. Create a TV called "summary" and put everything you want to appear in the Ditto summary page in it (no tags at all). Then create a chunk called "GetSummary" containing just this:

              [+summary+]


              Then use &tpl=`GetSummary` in the Ditto tag.
