I had a break from the computer and looked at it again, &extenders=`dateFilter,summary` <--- I found my answer by looking at the sample site of modx.

sorry if this is an easy one to answer but i have been looking at the documentation and couldn’t really find my answer.
I have followed the wordpress archive style example and have a question.
reflect uses the &extenders=`dateFilter` call to sort out the blog entries into archives but the problem is they dont have any summary text showing, if i enter &extenders=`summary` into the same call it doesn’t sort out the entries by date and just lists them all, showing the summary.
i hope that makes sense.
