I have a Ditto call which is successfully filtering results by year, using the ’&year’ dateFilter extender parameter:
[[Ditto? &startID=`107` &extenders=`dateFilter` &orderBy=`newsentrydate DESC` &display=`5` &dateFilterSource=`newsentrydate ` &dateSource=`newsentrydate` &filter=`newsentrytype,News,1` &year=`2010` &dateFormat=`%Y %m %d` &tpl=`newsentrychunk`]]
What if I wanted to specify a year range, say 2009-2010? Can I use MODX multiple filter clause syntax with extended parameters?
I tried this, but it returned no results:
&filter=`year,2009,2 | year,2010,2`
I tried filtering my year TV, ’newsentrydate’ which is defined as a unix timestamp in this way:
[[Ditto? &startID=`107` &extenders=`dateFilter` &orderBy=`newsentrydate DESC` &display=`5` &dateFilterSource=`newsentrydate ` &dateSource=`newsentrydate` &filter=`newsentrytype,News,1` &filter=`newsentrydate,01-01-2009 00:00:00,3|newsentrydate,31-12-2010 00:00:00,4` &dateFormat=`%Y %m %d` &tpl=`newsentrychunk`]]
again, no results were returned.
If anyone has any pointers on filtering a range of years, or say a range between two specific dates, it would be Greatly appreciated!
