Ditto revolution ... how to use it?

Hi! I’ve installed Ditto package (3.0 alfa)

In my page I’ve inserted

[[Ditto? &parents=`8` &display=`5` &total=`5` &orderBy=`createdon ASC` &dateSource=`createdon` &dateFormat=`%d.%m.%Y` &tpl=`DittoNewsTpl` &tplLast=`DittoNewsTplLast`]]

but I can’t show contents

how Can I insert items (articles) to show in front end??

I’ve only to insert this:
[[Ditto? &parents=`8` &display=`5` &total=`5` &orderBy=`createdon ASC` &dateSource=`createdon` &dateFormat=`%d.%m.%Y` &tpl=`DittoNewsTpl` &tplLast=`DittoNewsTplLast`]]

in my page or I’ve to insert other informations??

You’ve created the DittoNewsTpl chunk, yes? If not, you need to create a chunk named whatever you have called for in your Ditto call.
You can see a full list of placeholders on the wiki, but just to check that it works just put [+content+] into the template chunk.
Your Ditto call also looks for the articles as children of the document with ID 8: make sure your articles are here.

The current version of Ditto seems to have trouble with empty date fields even if they are in unpublished docs.

Try using getResources with the same parameters.
