I have a Ditto call on the home page which is working well, but when the same page is called with two parameters (for a mini calendar display)

Ditto doesn’t find the docs ... Does Ditto take month & year for its own doc retrieval any how?

Just solved - removed the dateFilter extender from snippet call and now it works.
