Filtering products by width using Ditto?

Hello everyone.

I have a page of products: http://www.johnstrand-mk.co.uk.server64.ukservers.net/kitchens/mini-kitchen.html This is generated using Ditto to call all resources below a resource and compile them in one page.

On this new page are products with 3 different widths therefore I wanted to offer the option to filter by width.

I have created a TV for all of the product pages called [*width*].

Now I need to create a dropdown menu that will allow the visitor to filter the page.

Where do I start - I am quite lost on how to begin.

You could use Ditto’s tagging extender for this. Your Ditto call will include &tagData=`width`, which automatically invokes the extender. If you use a Delimited List widget for the TV with a comma as the delimiter, the call will also have &tagDelimiter=`,`

Now your listing page just needs buttons with links to itself and ?tags=width1 etc. as the query string to select on those tags.

Thanks for this and sorry for the delay. I couldn’t work it out, and now looking at it again with fresh eyes, it tooks me seconds to add in.

My Ditto call included [!Ditto? &tagData=`width`!] with a TV called ’width’ and then to call the width in the TVs I used <a href="kitchens/mini-kitchen.html?tags=1000">1000mm</a>

It works a treat.
