Tags drivning me insane

I’ve got a TV setup called MyTags with input type as text and widget as a deliminated list with the delimiter set as a , and a space.

I have entered some tags in my news articles that are held in a container. the DocID of which is 2.

My ditto call in ID 2 is:


My tags display correctly in the list of news articles, and work fine when clicked on.

Now at the bottom of my page I want a list of just tags, nothing else. For this I have the following ditto call;



However nothing is shown at all as a result fo this call.

Its driving me insane now.

If you have two ditto calls on the same page, you probably need to give each an &id parameter, to keep their output separate.

I don’t think your second ditto call is correct and I don’t think ditto can do what you need in the second call but I might be mistaking.

Maybe you need to build a custom snippet that takes all the tags and displays them separately.

I had everything working fine, then I had to restore an old backup that was pre-tags.

Now i just can’t get it function as I like.

I’ve never had an issue with them before so i’m presuming i’ve just done something stupid, because i’ve been staring at it for too much - lol

Is it because your second Ditto call uses &startID? Ditto 2.0 replaced &startID with &parents

Doesn’t seem to work, i’m just not getting any tags showup at all.

They show on my news page (ID2) where they are called in a template along with a short summary of the story but they will not show in alist at the bottom of my page.

Try removing the space at the start of the snippet call.
