i make some test with this:

and i thing this JavaScript code in original:

not work properly...(for me)
my change is:
<script language="JavaScript">
function MM_jumpMenu(targ,selObj,restore){ //v3.0
eval(targ+".location='"+selObj.options[selObj.selectedIndex].value+"'");
if (restore) selObj.selectedIndex=0;
}
//-->
</script>
that work 100% and clean.
and make change in:
<select name="goto" onChange="jumpTo(this);">
with this:
<select name="goto" onChange="MM_jumpMenu('parent',this,0)">
