The error you mentioned most likely results from one of two things. Either the file (/manager/includes/extenders/dbapi.mysql.class.inc.php) does not exist or Apache does not have permission to open it.

First I would check that the file exists and then I would check the permissions on it.

Could you maybe attach a text or html file with all of the errors?

I believe the problem is that the installer cannot find the database you’ve given it. There is a message that indicates the database does not exist, will attempt to create it. That indicates to me that your configuration may be incorrect. Are you doing this on an upgrade of a particular database which already exists, or creating a new installation?

If a new install, try creating the database first with your MySQL administration tool (I recommend phpMyAdmin) and making sure the dbuser/password credentials you are providing in the installer have permission to create and alter tables in that database.

            Hi
the database is correct, the installer creates and fill’s. All options were executed. fresh install and so on upgrade and so on.
it seems that the script tries to run twice.

exactly the same i’ve seen somewhere in the forums but no answer...

I’m not understanding izo, is it a clean install or an upgrade? And the message clearly says the database did not exist when it tried to change to it, though it says it is creating it. So it had to create the container itself, which may be part of the problem. Try starting with a clean database (i.e. drop all the tables) that does exist and run a clean install, making sure the installer can find the database.

Izo, this is already documented : if you use the EasyPHP WAMP server package for windows it does not work with MODx you get errors@install. You have to install XAMPP from apachefriends.
