I’ve looked around for solutions, but I haven’t yet found anything. Has anyone successfully implemented a faceted navigation system using Ditto? We’ve gotten very close by feeding parameters to Ditto’s tags. Initial results seem to work for one checkbox, but nothing seems to really change when multiple checkboxes are selected. The deal breaker seems to be that Ditto’s SQL statement uses an OR statement instead of an AND statement.
Does anyone know where/how to alter this?
My guess is that the answer lies in ditto.class.inc.php, but I’m not sure. Any clues would be greatly appreciated.
You don’t mention exactly which parameters you are trying to use or what your Ditto call ends up looking like.
the filter param should help if you’re trying to filter out option a and option b (but on different sources). IIRC, I was trying to filter out (from option a either option i, option ii or option iii) and (from option b either option iv or option v) and ended up having to modify classes/filter.class.inc.php
