Hi all, first of all I know there are a few tutorials for setting up pagination however I am having trouble compreheding it all. If someone could show me an example ditto call that would be great i can do the css and the rest.
This is a simple example.
[[Ditto? &id=`itemList` &display=`all` &tpl=`listView` &summarize=`20` &paginate=`1`]]
<div id="ditto_pages">[+itemList_previous+] [+itemList_next+]</div>
The two import parameters paginating for the ditto call are...
&summarize=`20` -- how many items to list on the page
&paginate=`1` -- you want to paginate the list (on/off)
If it doesn’t work, try changing it to a cached call.

thanks mate, however I want it spilit up a large bunch of text rather than "items" how do i set that up?
I am assuming that the large bunch of text is the content of one document. Then ditto can’t help you. But with some consistent formatting you can do it with mootools. Have a look at something like this...
