I am trying to move my website from one server to another. now after tranfering the databse, everthing works fine except the ditto which is not displaying the a list of document in a DESC order. but on the original server everything is workning fine. the ditto is

    [[Ditto? &summarize=`4` &total=`4` &startID=`7` &tpl=`DittoTemplate` ]]

i have tries to modify it as below but still no change.

    [[Ditto? &summarize=`4` &total=`4` &startID=`7` &tpl=`DittoTemplate` &orderBy=`Createdon DESC`]]

but still ditto is not working. please advice. am using modx 0.9.6.1p2

Have you worked out what order the items are being displayed in? That might give you a clue to what’s gone wrong.

Have you tried looking at the database records with PHPMyAdmin or whatever, to see what’s in the createdon fields of the items? It seems strange that you get anything other than "createdon DESC" as default or as an explicit setting. So maybe the field has been changed in the transfer process.

Unless the new database is the version that is so buggy with sorts...I forget now which one that is.
