how can a link to specific article be formatted

I have things working the way I want (almost) thanks to KP. Here is the blog page where the articles will be listed http://www.massflyfishing.com/cms/index.php?id=64 and here’s a sample of the page(this will be noved to the homepage) that will have the latest 5 entries with summaries http://www.massflyfishing.com/cms/index.php?id=60. You’ll notice that when you click ’read more...’ on any of the articles the link takes you to page 64.

Is there a way to have the link take you to the exact article on page 64 and not the top of the page and not just the article. For example, if I click ’read more...’ on the second article listed on page 60 it will take me to the top of page 64 and I’ll have to scroll down to the article on the page. I know a link an be created that will take you to the actual article number page (the second article listed is #75.) I don’t want to go to separate entry pages just on page 64 to the specific article.

I was thinking something like adding (this is probably way off) <a href="[~64~]" &DocumentID=`DocumentID`>read more ...</a> and the on page 60 [[Ditto? &dateSource=`createdon` &dateFormat=`%m/%d/%y` &tpl=`tpl.news.blog` &DocumentID=`DocumentID`]]

In a nutshell - all articles are on one page and the link takes the reader to the specific article on that one page. Does this sound logical? Is this possible?

Yes, by using anchors in your aggregated output:

and linking to them with:


BTW, you got error on your aggregate page - HTML element ids must be unique (use class instead of id).

Great. Got it to work. The person writing the blog will be able to set this up easily enough as it only takes adding the anchor to the document using the RTE
